The Samhain Workshop An interactive aromatherapy workshop with Kirsty Wednesday 29th October 2025 | 6:30pm – 7:30pm Join me, Kirsty – a qualified aromatherapist, meditation teacher and nature enthusiast – for a cosy, candlelit evening honouring Samhain, the Pagan Sabbat that marks the end of the harvest season and the turning of the Wheel into winter. Samhain is one of the most powerful and sacred of the Sabbats – a liminal time when the veil between worlds is said to be at its thinnest, inviting us to connect with our ancestors, honour those who came before us, and embrace the mystery of the dark half of the year. This is a time of endings and beginnings, of release and renewal – a chance to let go of what no longer serves us and step into the deep rest and wisdom that winter offers. In this one-hour workshop, we will explore: • The meaning of Samhain and its place on the Wheel of the Year. • Plants, herbs, and essential oils traditionally linked with Samhain, such as rosemary, mugwort, and myrrh. • How these oils can support release, intuition, and grounding in darker months. • Simple yet meaningful ways to honour Samhain in your own life. This is a hands-on, heart-nourishing workshop, and you’ll receive a Samhain-themed aromatherapy gift box in advance, containing: Mini bottles of protective and grounding essential oils such as sage, black spruce, and patchouli All the materials to make your own mini natural besom (broom) – a traditional symbol of cleansing and protection A Recipe Card with step-by-step instructions for your aromatherapy creations, plus simple Samhain-inspired practices and rituals Ingredients to craft your own Samhain-inspired aromatherapy product, blending seasonal magic with plant wisdom A sample of the new loose incense, created in honour of the darker half of the year – to burn as a ritual of release, grounding, and connection Aromatherapy connects us to the spirit of the plants – their magic, their wisdom, their beauty.
